Meet Gemini & Prince Gumball
Bonded brothers who lost their home due to financial hardship.
Right before Thanksgiving, knowing a long winter was ahead, we received a call that broke our hearts. Prince Gumball and Gemini’s adopter was about to lose his home and was preparing to live in his van for the foreseeable future. Despite facing extreme financial hardship, his biggest concern was what would happen to his beloved cats.
Of course, we did not hesitate to welcome them back into our rescue.
It was a heartbreaking reunion when they arrived. Their adopter loved them dearly, and they loved him just as much—hugging him as he held each of them close, tears streaming down his face.
These two are truly special boys. Every one of our volunteers has fallen head over heels for them. Prince Gumball is a big talker and very outgoing. He can’t get enough pets and cuddles and will happily rub all over you whenever he has the chance. Gemini is more reserved at first and may seem shy, but once you pick him up, he melts into you—wrapping his paws around your neck in a tight hug and nuzzling close.
Our greatest hope is that they will be loved and cherished, and never have to experience that kind of separation again.
Gemini and Prince Gumball are waiting at Petco Huntington for their next adventure with a loving family—what we hope will be their final furever home.
They are two years old, neutered, have all their shots, microchipped and FELV/FIV negative.
If you would like to meet them, please submit a non-committal application. We would be happy to introduce you.
