Their Story

Angel and Tux were born in a backyard in Brentwood, New York, along with their siblings, Bibble and Mirage. Their mother had chosen the yard to have her babies, and the residents knew the little family needed some help.

As luck would have it, they approached the husband of one of our directors—a man who, despite never actually volunteering for the title, has developed a habit of finding himself in the middle of cat rescues simply because of his wife's involvement with NCRA.

Around here, we've decided he needs a name.

And with that, another backyard family found its way to Northport Cat Rescue.

The four kittens came into our care when they were just over six weeks old and were able to grow up safely indoors. Bibble and Mirage have since found their forever homes.

Angel and Tux are still with us, all grown up from the tiny kittens who first arrived together in that carrier, and now we're hoping it's finally their turn to find homes of their own.
