Meet Moon

With her sleek black coat, striking golden eyes, and affectionate personality, Moon is pretty hard to resist.

Moon came to us in an unusual way. She was discovered outdoors during the search for a missing black cat. She wasn't the cat everyone had been looking for, but she was a friendly young girl who clearly needed someone to find her, too. That's how Moon became part of the NCRA family.

Moon quickly showed us what a sweetheart she is. Our volunteers describe her as loving, snuggly, playful, and affectionate. She loves pets, gives sweet head-butts, and especially enjoys playing with toy mice.

Before moving to one of our adoption locations, Moon lived in a foster home with other cats and kittens, a dog, and a young child—and she did wonderfully with everyone.

Unfortunately, life in a store habitat wasn't nearly as comfortable for her. As time went on, the confinement and busy environment became stressful, and Moon began showing us that she simply wasn't happy there. Once we realized the store wasn't the right setting for her, she returned to foster care.

Moon is ready for a home of her own where she can stretch her legs, play, cuddle, and be the sweet, social girl we know her to be. With her affectionate nature and experience living happily with both people and other pets, we think Moon will make a wonderful addition to the right family.
