Meet Babylon

Babylon’s story began when an employee at a West Babylon business reached out to us about an extremely friendly cat who had suddenly appeared outside his workplace. A neighboring business had reportedly captured someone on camera leaving her there in a cage.

It was immediately apparent that Babylon was not accustomed to living outdoors. She approached people for attention, rubbed against their legs and rolled onto her back to be petted. Employees began feeding her, but they worried about what would happen to such a trusting cat—especially with colder weather approaching.

After several attempts, the employee who contacted us found Babylon late one evening and safely secured her. She was brought into our care and taken for veterinary evaluation before settling into a foster home.

Despite everything she experienced, Babylon remains incredibly sweet and friendly. At approximately six years old, she is past the busy kitten stage and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for an affectionate adult cat.

Babylon is currently completing her routine veterinary care, but we are accepting adoption applications now. We cannot change what happened to her, but we can make sure the next chapter of her life is filled with the security and love she should have had all along.
